January 14th: Mastriano Plans Teletown Hall

HARRISBURG – State Senator Doug Mastriano (R-33) is planning a telephone town hall on Tuesday, January 14th to gather feedback from residents of the 33rd Senate District.

The hour-long event begins at 6 p.m., and the format encourages local citizens to ask questions, or simply remain on the line and listen to the conversation.

Mastriano hosted telephone town hall events in September and December, and those forums featured more than 40 callers, as well as six interactive polls.

“The positive feedback has been overwhelming. I truly value the opportunity to have a transparent and open dialogue with constituents on a regular basis,” said Mastriano. “I am looking forward to another opportunity to discuss statewide and district-specific matters with residents, and learning about the issues that are important to them.”

Questions and topics from Mastriano’s previous telephone town hall events included property tax reform, the 2nd Amendment, the state’s opioid crisis, robo-calls, veterans’ issues and red flag laws.

Residents of the 33rd Senate District – which includes Adams County, and portions of Franklin, York and Cumberland counties – can register for the telephone town hall at https://redesign.senatormastriano.com/tele-town-hall/.

The event will also be streamed on Facebook Live.
