State Sen. Doug Mastriano (R-33) spoke in favor of his legislation that would enable members of strategic allies, like the Republic of Lithuania, to receive the Pennsylvania Distinguished Service Medal and the Pennsylvania Meritorious Service Medal. These medals currently can only be awarded to members of the Pennsylvania National Guard or the United States armed forces.
