Sen. Doug Mastriano (R-33) and the Pennsylvania State Working Animal Foundation will host Working Animal Appreciation Day today to recognize police and military K-9s, search and rescue dogs and horses, service dogs and therapy animals. The event will feature a news conference in Soldier’s Grove, two working animal demonstrations, a special appearance by K-9 Snickers, dozens of working animal exhibitors and Berkey Creamery ice cream.
