Sen. Doug Mastriano (R-33)
$105 BILLION SAVED. That’s not a typo. That’s the real, tangible impact of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), an organization cutting through bureaucratic waste, slashing unnecessary spending and bringing accountability back to government. This is the kind of government we need! Efficient, responsive and laser-focused on ensuring that every taxpayer’s dollar is spent wisely.
This is why I am introducing a resolution urging the entire Pennsylvania Congressional Delegation to enthusiastically support the continued success of DOGE. This is not about politics, it’s about results.
For too long, taxpayer dollars have been wasted on bloated bureaucracies, redundant programs and outrageous foreign expenditures that do nothing for the hardworking people of Pennsylvania. Government inefficiency is a hidden tax on every citizen. Billions of dollars have vanished into fraudulent programs and unnecessary contracts. Critical resources have been misallocated while Pennsylvanians struggle to make ends meet.
Enter DOGE. $105 billion saved through fraud elimination, waste reduction and program streamlining.
Useless contracts and outdated leases were canceled, stopping the money drain. Regulatory tape was cut, clearing the way for job growth and innovation. Greater government accountability was introduced, enabling us to know where our money is going.
DOGE is proving that government can work for the people – if we demand it.
We are witnessing a historic shift in efficiency and innovation, led by bold thinkers like Elon Musk. Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, The Boring Company – his companies have transformed entire industries by revolutionizing processes, leveraging automation and cutting inefficiencies.
The public sector must follow this model. Government cannot be bogged down by outdated bureaucracy and broken systems.
It’s past time to eliminate waste, streamline operations, adopt data-driven decision making and use technology to reduce costs and improve services.
This is what DOGE is all about. And this is why we must fully support its efforts.
While seniors, disabled veterans and hardworking Pennsylvanians struggle to put food on the table, we cannot allow billions of dollars to be funneled into corrupt schemes and foreign projects that do nothing for our people.
We must end the cycle of reckless spending. We must hold government accountable and ensure transparency. We must demand efficiency at every level.
Supporting DOGE is a no-brainer. It’s about protecting the hard-earned dollars of Pennsylvanians and ensuring that the government works for the people – not for itself.
I am calling on every member of Pennsylvania’s Congressional Delegation to support the continued work of DOGE. This is a bipartisan, commonsense issue.
It’s time to put the people first.
The future of Pennsylvania depends on it. Let’s stand together, demand results and push for a government that works for us.
