Mastriano to Honor Vietnam War Veterans on March 25

HARRISBURG – Sen. Doug Mastriano (R-33), chairman of the Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will host a news event in honor of Vietnam War Veterans Day on Tuesday, March 25, at 11:30 a.m. in the Pennsylvania State Capitol Media Center, Harrisburg.

Mastriano sponsored Senate Bill 1160, now Act 124 of 2024, to officially recognize Vietnam War Veterans Day on March 29 through state law.

“As we continue to mark the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, I am pleased that we have added March 29 into Pennsylvania law and can proudly say to our Vietnam veterans: thank you and welcome home,” said Mastriano.

Vietnam War veteran First Lt. Clebe McClary, United States Marine Corps, Ret. will serve as the keynote speaker.
