Mastriano, Borowicz to Host News Conference Supporting Israel and its People Following Hamas Terrorist Attacks

HARRISBURG – Sen. Doug Mastriano (R-33), chairman of the Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, and Rep. Stephanie Borowicz (R-76), will host a news conference Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m. in the Rotunda of the state Capitol, Harrisburg, to show support for Israel and its people following the barbaric terror attacks upon civilians perpetrated by Hamas.

Mastriano and Borowicz sponsored resolutions in the Senate and House, respectively, to condemn the attack on Oct. 7 by Hamas, where Palestinian terrorists killed and tortured Israeli civilians while taking others hostage. That attack ignited a new chapter of war in the century-long conflict between Israelis and Palestinians that pre-dates World War I.

Participants will include:

  • Sen. Doug Mastriano (R-33);
  • Rep. Stephanie Borowicz;
  • Members of the House and Senate;
  • Alexandra Levine, national Jewish faith leader and internationally renowned opera singer;
  • Members of the local Jewish community.
